There will be video auditions for solo parts. Please print the SOLO part for your part assignment if you want to audition for the solo. Each solo part is almost exactly like the regular part with the same number – it just has extra notes which the regular part doesn’t play. They are marked “solo” and the parts that everyone play are marked “tutti” (or not marked at all at the beginning of the part.) Unless a section is marked “solo,” assume it’s “tutti.”

Audition videos must be straight through from beginning to end (no editing or start/stop.) They look best in landscape mode. You don’t need to use a metronome or play from memory. Play the top note of any double stops. Upload to YouTube and set privacy setting to “Unlisted.” Send the link to Ms. Jennifer and Mr. Eric using Remind or email. The link must be received by Saturday, May 5, 2018. Contact Ms. Jennifer with any questions.
